Wadsworth ByPass Road

Work on the design of the Wadsworth ByPass Road project is continuing.  Transportation Planning has been working with the Nevada Department of Transportation, BIA Transportation and Summit Engineering to complete the final draft of the Plans for the project with hopes of receiving funding from the 2016 BUILD grant. The BUILD grant funds are highly competitive and will be our biggest pool of funding to take us into the construction phase.  The bypass road will redirect traffic away from the Wadsworth Community and will provide direct access to the I-80 corridor for commuters going to and from work in the Reno/Sparks area as well as providing a shortened route for tourists visiting the lake.
