Weather and wind patterns are not just local.
The hazy sky we are experiencing is smoke from wildfires in Siberia. Yes, SIBERIA! Below is an interesting article on the Siberian wildfires and the trajectory of smoke.

Today's Air Quality Index (AQI) is in the moderate range, meaning "air quality is acceptable; however, for some pollutants there may be a moderate health concern for a very small number of people who are unusually sensitive to air pollution." Unusually sensitive people should consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion.

New...Wadsworth Community Center Update
The new Wadsworth community center at 551 Eighth Street is almost complete but is available for use. The temporary cost to use is a $75 fee plus $100 cleaning deposit to be paid directly to Tribal Finance prior to event. Due to our budget constraints, for now, the user is to supply all paper products needed for the event. Currently there has been no approved waiver of fees for this facility. The Tribe still has to purchase the entrance door floor mats. The dishwasher is not hooked up but the other appliances are working. Once this work is complete, the use fee cost will be revisited to make sure costs are covered. For now (temporary) to schedule use, please contact Della John, Tribal Administration at 574-1000 x125. The Tribe is still planning to hold a grand opening in the coming weeks, once after the paving and other work is completed.
For all other Tribal building use scheduling, please continue to go through Ms. Lori Black at the front desk.
